Today feels like the perfect day to begin because it marks a very special anniversary— It’s my birthday.

Nine years ago, on June 4, 2017, my life changed forever.

Until then, I was just a small puppy trying to survive in the Sicilian countryside after being abandoned near a garbage dump. Life was uncertain, and I had no idea what tomorrow would bring.

Then something extraordinary happened. Two people saw me, stopped, and decided to help. I had no idea how much my life was about to change.

A few months later, I boarded an airplane and traveled all the way to Los Angeles. Since then, I've lived beside my family, explored new places, made wonderful friends, and experienced adventures I never could have imagined. I even have my own passport!

The truth is, I don't really care where I'm going. As long as I'm with my parents, I'm happy.

What I've learned is that home isn't a place—it's the people who love you.

Looking back, it's hard to believe how far we've come together.

What began as a rescue became a family. What began as a single story became a book. And now that story continues to inspire new adventures.

And now, nine years later, another adventure is about to begin.
