Mizzica’s Magical Journey is now available!
What began with the rescue of a little dog from Sicily has taken us on a journey we never could have imagined.
Inspired by true events, Mizzica’s Magical Journey follows Mizzica from Los Angeles back to the island where her life began, on an adventure filled with friendship, ancient legends, unexpected guides, signs and synchronicities—and the discovery that sometimes the things we’re searching for have been quietly waiting for us all along.
It’s a story about belonging, purpose, love, loss, and the mysterious connections between animals and the people who love them. And although Mizzica may be a little dog, we wrote this story for readers of all ages.
We are incredibly excited to finally send her out into the world.
Mizzica’s story began with a rescue in Sicily, and we want her journey to give something back. A portion of the proceeds from every book sold will be donated to Canile Rifugio degli Iblei Achille Birotto, a Sicilian animal shelter caring for dogs in need.
Thank you for following Mizzica’s story and for all the encouragement you’ve given us along the way. It has meant more than you know.

We're delighted to share the official cover of our upcoming book, Mizzica's Magical Journey.
Inspired by the remarkable true story of a little rescue dog from Sicily, Mizzica's Magical Journey is a heartwarming tale about paying attention—to the quiet signs, unexpected friendships, and moments of wonder that often pass us by.
Set against the beauty of Sicily and woven with gentle magical realism, the story follows Mizzica as she discovers that the world is filled with mysteries waiting to be noticed. Along the way, she meets unforgettable animal companions, ancient legends, and unexpected guides who help reveal the quiet magic hidden in everyday life.
Written for readers of all ages, the book celebrates courage, belonging, gratitude, and the invisible connections that unite us all.
We're putting the finishing touches on the book now and look forward to sharing a publication announcement very soon.
An Italian edition will follow, allowing Mizzica's story to return to the country where it all began.

Today feels like the perfect day to begin because it marks a very special anniversary— It’s my birthday.
Nine years ago, on June 4, 2017, my life changed forever.
Until then, I was just a small puppy trying to survive in the Sicilian countryside after being abandoned near a garbage dump. Life was uncertain, and I had no idea what tomorrow would bring.
Then something extraordinary happened. Two people saw me, stopped, and decided to help. I had no idea how much my life was about to change.
A few months later, I boarded an airplane and traveled all the way to Los Angeles. Since then, I've lived beside my family, explored new places, made wonderful friends, and experienced adventures I never could have imagined. I even have my own passport!
The truth is, I don't really care where I'm going. As long as I'm with my parents, I'm happy.
What I've learned is that home isn't a place—it's the people who love you.
Looking back, it's hard to believe how far we've come together.
What began as a rescue became a family. What began as a single story became a book. And now that story continues to inspire new adventures.
And now, nine years later, another adventure is about to begin.
